About Me

Brett A. Koder, MD, is pleased to be part of the longstanding Willis-Knighton family after practicing medicine for 17 years in North Carolina. He treats patients of all ages and especially enjoys helping patients hear, breathe and sleep better. Dr. Koder values clear communication and education for patients as they make treatment decisions. In addition to general ENT work, he has a special interest in allergies and sinus surgery. 

A native of Louisiana, Brett Koder, MD, received his bachelor’s degree at LSU Baton Rouge. He continued his education at LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans School of Medicine. Dr. Koder did residency training in North Carolina at Greenville Memorial Hospital and another here at LSUHSC-Shreveport in 1993. A board certified physician (American Board of Otolaryngology), he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. 

Dr. Koder is married and, when not at work, enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, traveling and watching college and professional sports.
