About Me

Clint Cormier, MD, a Bossier City native, is a graduate of Parkway High School. He attended LSU-Shreveport for his undergraduate studies in biological sciences and earned his medical doctorate from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport.

After finishing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at LSUHSC-Shreveport, he spent four years in private practice in Shreveport.

Dr. Cormier’s interest in high-risk obstetrics led him to pursue a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. After finishing his fellowship in 2010, Dr. Cormier joined Dr. Christian Briery at Regional Perinatal Group. He is board certified in maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Special interests of Dr. Cormier include diabetes management during pregnancy, prenatal fetal diagnosis, and management of multiple pregnancies (twins/triplets).

He and his wife, Stacey, have two sons, Caleb and Joshua. He values the time he gets to spend with them on the ball field and even assisting coaching.
