About Me
Aaron Stigers, MSN, APRN, NP-C, considers himself a military brat who was born in Missouri and grew up in California and Texas. Now at home in Northwest Louisiana, Mr. Stigers offers primary care services for adolescents to end of life, with a focus on geriatrics. His nursing philosophy is centered on preventive care and educating clients so they can make the best healthcare decisions for themselves. Mr. Stigers establishes long-term trust with his regular clients as they work together to prevent medical emergencies. Education and a shared understanding are essential for people to commit to a healthy lifestyle that supports the best outcome.
A graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing, Mr. Stigers has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is a certified nurse practitioner (NP-C) licensed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. His other memberships include the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, Sigma Theta Tau International and Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP).
In addition to nursing practice, Mr. Stigers educates nurses who have returned to graduate school. He is an active preceptor for students to gain clinical experience.
In his spare time, Mr. Stigers enjoys working in his garden to loud music and traveling with his family. He and his wife have three children, a bonus adult child and many grandparents.
