About Me
As the daughter of a three time breast cancer survivor and the mother of a child who has a genetic condition, Alicia Schollmeyer, MSN, FNP-C, AOCNP, has a passion for genetics in healthcare.
Schollmeyer helps you understand your genetic risk related to certain conditions and empowers you to make informed healthcare decisions so you can live a long and fulfilling life. She uses the power of knowledge, compassion and partnership to deliver patient focused care. Her goal is to offer clarity and peace of mind to patients and families, enabling you to take proactive steps toward a healthier future.
The University of Texas at Tyler awarded Schollmeyer both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees. Schollmeyer is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner with extensive training in genetics through the City of Hope. As a family nurse practitioner, she cares for patients throughout life.
In her free time, Schollmeyer enjoys spending time with her husband, Curtis, and their two children. She is a pianist, singer and loves to travel. Schollmeyer wants to hike all the U.S. national parks and visit as many wonders of the world as possible. She recently started beekeeping and 2024 was her first honey harvest.
