Britney Powell, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner Britney Powell has more than 20 years of nursing experience in fields such as medical/surgical nursing, cardiology/telemetry and urgent care. She is joining WK Vein Specialists, which treats disorders of the venous system, including spider veins, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), leg pain and leg swelling.

A native of Joaquin, Texas, Powell earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Northwestern State University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family and their furbaby. She also enjoys traveling, reading and watching movies, especially Marvel movies.
