About Me
Catrina Lewis, NP, cares for adults with conditions that affect their lungs and breathing. Following an individualized care philosophy, Lewis places a strong emphasis on adjusting medical treatment to meet each patient’s particular needs and goals. Lewis works with her team to help patients move toward better health.
Her interest in pulmonary care began during nurse practitioner training, where Lewis was drawn to how essential healthy lung function is to the entire body. She values the complexity of pulmonary medicine and the opportunity it offers to make a real difference in patients’ lives as they’re able to get back on their feet using evidence-based medicine and modern medical technologies.
Lewis earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Grambling State University. A board-certified nurse practitioner (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners), she treats patients 18 and older.
A Shreveport native, Lewis knew since she was 15 that she wanted to help others improve their health. In her personal time, Lewis enjoys quality time with her family.
