About Me
Abbey McGough Carroll, MD, FAAP, cares for children at Pierremont Pediatrics. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Carroll earned her bachelor’s degree from Samford University. Next she graduated from University of Alabama School of Medicine. Upon completion of her pediatrics internship at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Dr. Carroll did her pediatrics residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine.
Dr. Carroll is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Her current memberships include the Northwest Louisiana Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Society.
A mother of four, Dr. Carroll is married to Warren, a pilot in the United States Air Force. Her family enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. They are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church, where they are involved in family ministry and missions.
