Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Cox came to the Bossier area where he gained additional experience as an independent practitioner in family medicine clinics and at Bossier Medical Center. He joined Louisiana Family Practice and the Willis-Knighton Physician Network in 2001.He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and a member of the American Medical Association as well as Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. Throughout his years in Bossier he has assumed numerous leadership roles with the Bossier Parish Medical Society and as well as hospital positions, including service on the WK Bossier board. In addition to his medical practice in Bossier he has participated in medical mission groups to With the Louisiana Baptist Medical and Dental Association, helping people in Mexico, Honduras, China, Kenya and Haiti. Dr. Cox is married, and he and his wife, Donna, have two daughters, Laura and Leslie.
