About Me
Amanda Allen Williams, MD, FACOG, practices obstetrics and gynecology at Women’s Health Specialists of Bossier. She is committed to calming women’s fears as she works with patients to correct their medical concerns. Dr. Williams enjoys her clinic setting where she builds relationships to treat adolescent and adult women with a variety of needs. She says that an ideal day involves clinic visits, delivery of a new baby and gynecologic surgery.
A native of Northwest Louisiana, Dr. Williams graduated from Sibley High School in Webster Parish. Medical school was at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, followed by an internship and OB-GYN residency at the same location. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Outside of work, Dr. Williams runs for fun and she is fond of all things Disney. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband, Steven, have three children.
