About Me
Asim Naveed, MD, treats adult neurology patients at Willis-Knighton hospitals, with a specific interest in stroke.
Dr. Naveed provides evidence-based and personalized care so his patients have a better understanding of their unique health situation and possible outcomes. True to his focus on compassionate care, Dr. Naveed gives his patients the attention and respect they deserve. He invites patients to ask important questions as he listens closely to their needs and helps them make informed decisions.
Originally from Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, Dr. Naveed graduated from Aga Khan University before his specialty training in the U.S. He completed an internship and neurology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where Dr. Naveed served as chief resident in his final year. He furthered his training with a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Naveed is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the Amercian Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Naveed enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
