About Me
Cheynita Metoyer, MD, practices internal medicine and pediatrics in Bossier City. She takes her medical expertise to local health fairs and schools to satisfy her interests in prevention, education and patient counseling.
A native of Bossier City, Dr. Metoyer graduated from Loyola College Prep and then received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Centenary College, magna cum laude. She continued her education at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Metoyer completed her clinical residency training in pediatrics and internal medicine at LSUHSC-Shreveport in 2016. She is board certified in pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics).
At WK Internal Medicine and Pediatric Specialists in North Bossier, Dr. Metoyer offers primary care services for all ages from birth to death. With a special interest in preventive care, Dr. Metoyer works with patients and their families so they can make healthcare decisions that support their livelihood.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Metoyer enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
