About Me
Elizabeth T. Harrel, MD, practices individualized care that involves collaboration of the patient and physician to arrive at a treatment plan that works for the patient. In addition to urologic surgeries and medicinal treatments, she incorporates diet and exercise as it relates to each patient’s overall well-being to get desired results.
Dr. Harrell studied biochemistry at Louisiana State University Shreveport. She then attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, where she also completed her surgical internship and urology residency. While a student there, Dr. Harrel received the Robert K. Womack Memorial Award for Excellence in the study of urology and was elected to Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Harrell began full-time practice in 2008 with a special interest in female urology.
