About Me
Emily Robinson Hobson, MD, FAAP, wants to care for your child. If it is time for a check-up, if they have an illness, or if they have a minor injury, Dr. Hobson is ready to care for your child.
She describes her treatment philosophy is described as collaborative, comprehensive, and caring. Dr. Hobson believes in evidence-based medicine, including information acquired from her own clinical practice. Treating pediatric patients as well as her own children for many years has taught Dr. Hobson valuable lessons she wants to share with your family. As a collaborator, Dr. Hobson listens to parents and is willing to incorporate different philosophies into her practice if it does not harm your child.
A Shreveport native, Dr. Hobson graduated from Caddo Magnet High School, Centenary College of Louisiana, and LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hobson enjoys spending quality time with her family, participating in and supporting the arts, and traveling the world.
