About Me
Gregory M. Phillips, MD, FACOG, offers a special connection and commitment to OB-GYN care for his patients at Women’s Health Clinic at Willis-Knighton South & the Center for Women’s Health. He encourages patients to bring their questions so he can help them find answers and get back to their normal life. In addition to minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries, Dr. Phillips specializes in high-risk pregnancies, including vaginal birth after a Caesarean delivery and multiple babies. Dr. Phillips also provides multiple outpatient procedures such as contraceptive placement, hysteroscopy and NovaSure.
Dr. Phillips and his partner physicians are part of the high-risk transport team that serves women across the Ark-La-Tex. The transport team includes perinatologists, obstetricians, neonatologists and pediatric surgeons who work together to bring babies safely into this world.
After he graduated cum laude with a biology degree from Louisiana Tech University, Dr. Phillips moved to Shreveport and graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. He completed his internship and OB-GYN residency at the same location. As a board-certified OB-GYN (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology), Dr. Phillips joins like-minded professionals as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Phillips is a devoted husband to Betsy and father of four children. He also keeps busy with various leadership positions, among them as a board member of Providence Classical Academy and The Hub: Urban Ministries.
