About Me
James B. Burke, MD, surgically treats a wide variety of conditions and enjoys giving patients immediate relief from severe pain. He particularly enjoys advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries due to their smaller incisions and shorter recovery times.
Dr. Burke received his medical degree at LSU Medical Center-New Orleans, followed by his residency at LSU Medical Center-Shreveport. His fellowship training was completed at Willis Knighton. Dr. Burke is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
