About Me
Jason Kinkartz, MD, MSc, helps athletes perform their best at their chosen sport with the treatment he provides as a sports medicine doctor and an orthopedic surgeon. Operative and nonoperative procedures are used by Dr. Kinkartz to help people overcome physical injuries and improve their level of athletic performance. When appropriate, he uses minimally invasive surgeries to help orthopedic patients of all ages achieve their personal goals.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Kinkartz completed a sports medicine surgery fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver. His orthopedic surgery residency took place at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and he graduated with his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Before medical school, Dr. Kinkartz earned a Master of Science (MSc) in microbiology and immunology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
Orthopedics’ relationship to many different areas of medicine is what attracts Dr. Kinkartz to this practice that restores people’s bodies – bones, arteries, nerves, muscles, joints, ligaments and more.
