About Me
Josephine M. Futrell, MD, PhD, gives you her full attention during your visit and considers you her most important patient. Well versed in the variety of dermatologic conditions, she’s ready to treat your medical, surgical or cosmetic needs.
An Arkansas native, Dr. Futrell started her career as a faculty member at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where she earned her PhD. Moving to Louisiana, she earned her MD at LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine and completed residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Futrell is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Futrell is married to her college sweetheart, Dr. Michael Futrell. In her personal time, Dr. Futrell enjoys running and kickboxing.
