About Me

Mackey Sugar Quinlan, MD, partners with families to care for children at Pierremont Pediatrics. A native of Shreveport, Dr. Quinlan earned her bachelor’s degree at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. She returned home to graduate from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Dr. Quinlan completed her internship and pediatric residency training at the same location.

Dr. Quinlan is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Her current memberships include the Northwest Louisiana Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

A mother herself, Dr. Quinlan considers herself knowledgable with plenty of experience around bumps and bruises, germs, sibling rivalry and compromises. She stays very busy shuttling her kids to their many activities at school, church and sports. Through it all, Dr. Quinlan remains committed to the practice of pediatric medicine and loves to make time for her family and friends.
