About Me
Michael L. Durci, MD, is a radiation oncologist at Willis Knighton Cancer Center. A believer that knowledge is power, Dr. Durci educates his cancer patients so they fully understand treatment options and partners with them as they make treatment decisions.
Dr. Durci is an advocate of proton therapy cancer treatment that targets tumor sites and spares the surrounding tissues and organs. As part of an advanced team known for its kindness, Dr. Durci uses his advanced knowledge and experience to help patients have the best outcome.
Trained in Texas, Dr. Durci received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. He completed his residency training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. A skilled physician, Dr. Durci was recognized in “Best Doctors in America” from 2003 through 2016. An American Board of Radiology certified radiation oncologist, Dr. Durci is now a certified diplomate of radiation oncology by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Durci has presented at regional and national meetings on the topic of radiation therapy. He is affiliated with many medical societies on the local, state, regional and national levels.
In his personal time, Dr. Durci enjoys outdoor sports, including golf, bicycling, and water and snow skiing. He and his wife, Denise, have two grown daughters.
