Endocrinology is the medical specialty that focuses on the treatment of diabetes, metabolic dysfunction (which encompasses the spectrum of obesity, impaired glucose metabolism and type 2 diabetes), hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders including thyroid cancer, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders and more. Dr. Chico wants you to feel confident you can achieve your personal health goals in a way that fits your lifestyle and priorities, all while keeping it realistic and sustainable so you have long lasting and consistent results.
Dr. Chico stays up to date on evidence based medicine and the latest technologies and treatments, incorporating technologies like continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), insulin administering devices like CeQur, InPens and insulin pumps, so you are provided with all the training, tools and an individualized treatment plan to achieve the best results. She wants you to leave her office feeling empowered, knowing you have her and her team available to help you on your journey to health.
