About Me
Monica Sehgal, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Women’s Specialists at South. She thrives at the intersection of medicine and surgery offered by her practice that cares for women’s health. Dr. Sehgal specializes in high-risk pregnancies and childbirth and is energized to help with your special case. As part of her care philosophy, she respects women’s privacy and special concerns, all in the delivery of exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care.
She earned a medical degree and a diploma in obstetrics and gynecology at Lady Hardinge Medical College in India. After her work as an OB-GYN senior house officer in the United Kingdom, Dr. Sehgal completed an OB-GYN residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine in New Jersey. Her credentials include certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Sehgal enjoys spending time with her family. Quality play time with her daughter and son is on her list of favorites.
