About Me

Oner A. Khera, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery) who practices spine surgery at WK Spine Clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. He enjoys working with patients who have all kinds of pain or mobility issues that could be related to their spine. He treats scoliosis and spinal deformities; spinal stenosis; spinal infections; spinal tumors; and fractures of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines that are considered level I traumas.

College for Dr. Khera was at the University of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology. Medical school was at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Dr. Khera pursued his interest in complex spine care during his fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York. He was involved in medical research studies that he helped present at orthopedic conferences during his years of academic training.
