About Me

Pierre V. Blanchard, MD, cares for adults with chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes, with a focus on geriatric medicine.

Dr. Blanchard earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1966. He moved north to complete his clinical residency at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In his personal time, Dr. Blanchard enjoys golf and football.
