About Me

Ramona Dsouza, MD, MPH, has a love for children that is evident as she cares for them from birth through adolescence. She provides a range of care, including annual check-ups for well children; treatment for illness, breathing and skin issues; and ongoing care for chronic conditions like hypertension and childhood obesity.

Dr. Dsouza provides a welcoming environment that is rewarding for both the parent and the child seeking medical care. Dr. Dsouza listens to a child’s mother and father and takes their personal observations and experiences into account as she provides compassionate, personalized care.

Originally from India, Dr. Dsouza graduated from Osmania Medical College. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois Chicago. This was followed by an internship and pediatrics residency at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Dr. Dsouza is a board certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics).

Away from the clinic, Dr. Dsouza enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves to garden and travel.
