About Me

Samip Master, MD, is driven to work toward a cure for cancer patients after his father was diagnosed with multiple myeloma when Dr. Master was a third-year medical student. Cancer care is very personal and Dr. Master is proud to be part of the team at Willis-Knighton Cancer Center’s Hematology/Oncology Associates that focuses on the right care for each patient. His clinical practice includes malignant hematology, or cancers of the blood known as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma; and solid cancers like breast, genitourinary malignancies, or cancers of the kidney, bladder and prostate among others.

Dr. Master graduated from Medical College Baroda in India. He came to Shreveport for his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine. Dr. Master was chief fellow his final year. Today he provides up-to-date cancer treatment options and personalized care as a board-certified medical oncologist, hematologist and internal medicine doctor (American Board of Internal Medicine).

When not treating patients, Dr. Master enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.
