About Me
Sheyenne W. Carper, MD, provides excellent and efficient care for children, carefully listening to a family’s observations and experiences so she can adequately meet their child’s medical needs. Her treatment philosophy is to give every child a healthy beginning as she individualizes healthcare for each person. Dr. Carper’s special interest is education, prevention and treatment for adolescents.
The University of Louisiana at Monroe was home for Dr. Carper’s undergraduate degree before medical education at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Her internship and residency in pediatrics took place at the same location. Dr. Carper is a board certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics).
Away from the clinic, Dr. Carper enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, traveling to new destinations every chance they get.
