About Me
teven Kitchings, MD, is a Shreveport native whose life is centered on serving others.
The son of a Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputy and an elementary school secretary, Dr. Kitchings knew from an early age that he wanted to dedicate himself to helping people. He began his career in healthcare as a respiratory care practitioner at Willis Knighton and later attended medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, where he completed a residency in family medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
As a family doctor, Dr. Kitchings recognizes the desperation many of his patients feel. He gets to know them, listening to understand their needs as he devises a treatment plan that reassures even the most skeptical patient.
Dr. Kitchings is an outdoorsman who loves dogs and describes himself as an avid LSU sports fan. He also enjoys time in the gym.
