About Me
Tamara Moore, MD, FAAP, loves working with children of all ages and watching them grow as a physician at WK Pediatric Health & Wellness. She devotes time to address parental concerns and answer questions about their child’s health, just as she would like to be treated.
A graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches with a degree in biology and a minor in microbiology. She attended medical school in the Caribbean at American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Moore’s pediatric residency training was at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. She is a board-certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics) and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
In her personal time, Dr. Moore enjoys painting craft projects and baking goodies. She and her husband have two children and a rescue dog. The family enjoys playing together, never missing a chance to watch LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football!
