About Me
A Shreveport native, Tyler D. Lash, MD, graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and studied biology and chemistry at Louisiana Tech University. He earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Dr. Lash followed medical school with a residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina.
After training at leading academic medical centers, Dr. Lash returned home to work with cancer patients at Willis Knighton Cancer Center’s Hematology/Oncology Associates.
Honesty is a core strength and treatment philosophy that guides Dr. Lash as he works with adult patients to create a comprehensive plan. His delivery of honest and compassionate care builds trust with patients who depend on Dr. Lash for life-saving medical treatment.
Dr. Lash is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Lash enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church and playing golf.
