About Me
Nurse practitioner Holly Ford specializes in cardiology. She treats acute and chronic problems involving the heart and vascular system, such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias and valvular disease at Willis Knighton Cardiology in Minden, alongside Phillip Rozeman, MD, and Brint Fegley, NP.
A native of Shreveport, Ford grew up in West Monroe. As a youngster, she trained to be a professional dancer until she changed her mind at age 17 and decided to go to college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in general studies degree in 2007 at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, with a focus on social and behavioral sciences.
She said her decision to pursue a healthcare career “is rooted in a desire to serve others, a calling that reflects my values and lifestyle as a follower of Christ.”
She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2011 at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree (Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) in 2026 at Northwestern State University in Shreveport. She is certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Heart Association.
Ford lives in Choudrant with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, being outside and spending time with loved ones.
