About Me
Lauren Banet, PA-C, cares for patients alongside Dr. Matthew Hefner at WK Precision Neurosurgery in Bossier City. Banet’s reminisces on her favorite childhood moments that included solving puzzles and building things after school as she describes her motivation to assist people with brain and spine disorders. She also recalls her mother’s perseverance and willingness to help others during difficult times. Banet provides the same quality medical care for people of all ages just as she would her own mother, father, husband or child.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Banet earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Centenary College of Louisiana. Banet got a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Allied Health Professions. She is a board certified physician assistant (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
In addition to serving patients in the community she calls home, Banet enjoys quality time with her husband and three children. The family enjoys swimming and boating on Cross Lake. She also likes to travel.
