About Me
Mary-Claire Mula, PA-C, says she has always enjoyed working with and helping others. “I knew I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
Today she specializes in inpatient cardiology at Willis Knighton Pierremont Cardiology. She cares for hospitalized patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction (heart attacks), cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension and other acute cardiac conditions.
A native of Lafayette, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2023 and a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine in 2026. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and reading.
