Sarah V. Muiznieks, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

In her work as a family nurse practitioner, Sarah Muiznieks strives to “combine evidence-based care with compassion, clear communication and a genuine commitment to helping patients achieve the best possible outcome.”  She works on the neurosurgery team in the Neurovascular/Neurosurgery Department at Willis Knighton North, caring for patients with a variety of neurological, endovascular and spinal conditions, including but not limited to degenerative spine disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, neck and back pain, brain and spinal tumors, traumatic brain and spine injuries, and other conditions requiring neurosurgical evaluation and treatment.

Muiznieks, who grew up in the Bossier City/Benton area, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Northwestern State University in Shreveport in 2022 and a Master of Science in Nursing degree (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Loyola University in New Orleans in 2026. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She loves traveling, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, cooking, spending time outdoors and caring for plants.
