About Me
Shanah Walker, RN, MSN, WHNP-C, is a certified women’s health nurse practitioner (National Certification Corporation) at Women’s Health Clinic. Her experience includes labor unit nursing and following female patients at OB-GYN clinics.
Walker enjoys interacting with patients to create long-term bonds and build trust with the women she cares for over many years. Her care philosophy is to provide high-quality and compassionate healthcare for every woman. She respects the privacy and personal concerns of every woman.
A native of Shreveport, Walker graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Centenary College. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing. That was followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP).
