About Me
Dr. Ashley McHugh White has strong ties to this region, having been raised and educated in the area as part of an Air Force family. Her father was a B-52 pilot and her mother worked in banking while Dr. White took advantage of excellent educational opportunities available in Shreveport. Graduating from Caddo Magnet High, she entered Centenary College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. That allowed her to gain her medical school education at LSU Health Shreveport, where she also completed a residency in pediatrics. In the midst of her educational activities, she met her future husband, Dr. Randall White Jr., who is also a pediatrician.
When she is not busy caring for her young patients (and their parents), she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, playing tennis and spending time with her “furry children,” a dog and two cats.
