About Me

David Drummond, DPM, FACFAS, is a foot and ankle surgeon at Bossier Orthopedics where he uses new technologies and techniques to correct and heal podiatric abnormalities and injuries. He is rewarded when he works with patients to find restorative solutions to complex problems so they can return to an active lifestyle. Dr. Drummond’s practice includes sports medicine, arthroscopy, joint replacement, trauma and reconstructive surgery, deformity correction and more.

A native of Shreveport-Bossier, Dr. Drummond graduated with honors from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. His clinicals moved him to study with distinguished surgeons at clinics across the United States. After medical school, Dr.  Drummond completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, a level I trauma center where he was chief resident. He is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS).
