About Me
Lauren McCalmont Morgan, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists. She looks forward to being part of a woman’s story as she provides medical treatment during all stages of life. From adolescent years to pregnancy and childbirth to menopause and beyond, Dr. Morgan tends to all aspects of a woman’s care. Patients see Dr. Morgan for annual well-woman gynecologic visits, minimally invasive robotic surgery and high-risk pregnancy care.
A Louisiana girl, Dr. Morgan was raised in Alexandria and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in biomedical engineering. LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine was her home for medical school, as well as her internship and OB-GYN residency. As a board-certified OB-GYN (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology), Dr. McCalmont joins like-minded professionals as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Outside the clinical job she loves, Dr. Morgan spends quality time with her family. She also enjoys traveling and cooking a good meal.
