About Me

Randall G. White, Jr., MD, FAAP, co-founded and cares for children at WK Preferred Pediatrics. His goal as a pediatrician is to partner with parents to help care for their children during sickness and health. Dr. White cares and advocates for children of all ages, infants, young children and teens.

A native of Shreveport-Bossier City, Dr. White graduated from Caddo Magnet High School and received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and economics at Centenary College of Louisiana. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Next was an internship and pediatric residency at the same location, where Dr. White received many awards.

A board certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics), Dr. White is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). His current memberships include the Northwest Louisiana Pediatric Society, Northwest Louisiana Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

He is the proud husband of Dr. Ashley White, a fellow Shreveport-Bossier native and current pediatric resident. Together they enjoy playing with their golden retrievers, spending time with family and traveling.
