About Me

Ever since she can remember, Zainab Manan, MD, wanted to work with children. As she became more interested in science and biology, she knew becoming a pediatrician was the right career choice for her. From treating common childhood illnesses and skin conditions like rashes or acne, to managing developmental and behavioral concerns like ADHD, she partners with families to support kids’ health through every stage of growth. She also offers preventive health services such as well-child checkups, vision screenings, vaccinations and birth control counseling for adolescents.

Dr. Manan believes in shared decision-making and values the voices of both patients and parents in every treatment plan. She enjoys building long-term relationships with families and finds joy in watching her young patients grow into healthy young adults. Thanks to her special interest in teen health and behavioral issues, Dr. Manan feels honored to care for children and teens through life milestones with care and compassion.

Originally from Quetta, a scenic valley in western Pakistan, Dr. Manan earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University, where her neurohospitalist husband, Dr. Qasim, also graduated. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Outside of work, Dr. Manan enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. They especially love exploring the outdoors and water activities like kayaking. She also likes to read and cook.
