Erin Michelle Waller, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner Erin Michelle Waller was inspired to pursue nursing as a career by her mom, who was also a nurse. “She was just a caregiver at heart. I have always felt called to help people and love to serve women in particular.” 

Today Waller works at Willis Knighton Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists Ruston, assisting with well-woman exams, screening, testing and treatment for problems with menopause, hormone replacement, contraception, menstruation and pelvic pain.   

A native of Arcadia who now lives in Ruston, Waller earned an Associate of Science in Nursing degree in 2003 at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2016 at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In 2018, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree (family nurse practitioner) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Brad, have two children — Mallory and Thomas. They are active members of Temple Baptist Church, where she enjoys working with the women’s ministry and youth ministry.
