About Me

Kirit Arumalla, MD, said he was inspired to choose medicine as a career “because of the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The combination of science, problem-solving and compassionate patient care drew me to the field, and I continue to be motivated by the trust patients place in their healthcare team.”

Dr. Arumalla is a clinical neuro-endovascular Fellow in Willis Knighton’s Graduate Medical Education Program. He’s training at WK Neurovascular Neurosurgery at Willis Knighton North.

A native of Hyderabad, India, he graduated from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, in 2013. He completed a residency in general surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi in 2017 and a residency in neurosurgery at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, India, in 2021.

He and his wife have one daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling around the world and visiting new places.
