About Me
Krista Sellers, NP, guides patients through the treatment of severe pain and traumatic injury as a neurosurgery nurse practitioner following years of work in a neurosurgical ICU . She values being part of a team with shared dedication, compassion and commitment to deliver high-quality critical care. Sellers provides a welcoming and supportive environment for patients with many different neurological conditions.
Originally from Central Louisiana, Sellers earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing. As a certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses), Sellers treats adults age 18 through the end of life.
Outside of work, Sellers enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She also enjoys reading, gardening and traveling. Her favorite childhood memories are centered on time with family, as well. One is gathering with family for a cochon de lait on Christmas Eve before going to worship. A second favorite childhood memory is waking up early for a boat ride to the camp with her dad for a morning duck hunt and an afternoon deer hunt.
